VID: Almost (Cam/Sam)

Some of you are probably going "What the frell/frak/etc, did my answers in that poll last week mean nothing to you?!" Well, to those of you who did answer that questionnaire - thank you! Yes, I did take into account the answers and I have already started two Daniel/Vala videos that should be out...at some point (I hope). BUT this video was burning a hole on my HD for the better part of three months and was actually started (and stopped) long before "Porcelain Heart," "Love Story," or "Not Ready to Make Nice" were even inklings in my head.

To those of you who have no idea what I'm talking about, ignore everything I just said and focus on this next part ;) Special thanks to

milena_d for bringing the song to my attention and encouraging me to embrace C/S humour - and for beta'ing even when she knew I'd be ungrateful :p

I almost had all of this too! *grins, then glares at Firefox* But the percentage I've seen thus far? LOVE IT! I'll pop by here tomorrow or the day after with proper thoughts of adoration and squees...because there is going to be plenty of both *g*

(btw, quick Q...how do you get it so bright and colorful? Is it a special effect, or does using Sony Vegas (I think I read you use that) do that 'naturally'?)

Yeah, I used Vegas for the brightness/saturation. There's a specific term they use for the effect that isn't "brightness" or "saturation" though (naturally). But no, it's not a natural effect of Vegas - you've got to add that in there.

Thanks :) I do tend to gravitate towards angstier songs, so this was a change of pace for me. I'm glad you like it!

Awesome! This is totally charming, and really well edited. I love vids set to upbeat songs, and have all sorts of respect for people who can put the time in to find the right clips. I think my brain would explode.

Wow! Just wow! Great song, great choice of clips, superb editing! *bows to you* I loved it and I'm pretty sure I'm gonna be hooked to this song - another great song I've discovered thanks to a video :)

Hee, which more than suits Cam's Eternal Teenager side (which, you know, not his *only* side, but it's an endearing one. 'Bullets bounce!' is still one of my favourite Cam moments.)
