VID: Broken (Cam/Carolyn + Sam)  
Okay, so after much struggling and A LOT of research (there really aren't that many Carolyn clips...), I finally finished my Cam/Carolyn video. It's not exactly what I had hoped or planned but I still think it's pretty good. However, it is very story-intensive so read the summary before you watch. Special thanks go out to [info]milena_d who's critiques, despite making me want to rip my hair out half of the time, probably made this vid 10x better.

SONG: Broken
ARTIST: Lifehouse
SUMMARY: After having his heart broken by Sam, Cam throws himself recklessly into the battle in the Antarctic where he is seriously injured. While in the hospital he meets Dr. Carolyn Lam and the two quickly strike up a friendship. While Cam's feelings for Carolyn deepen, he can't help but remember what he had with Sam. In the end, Cam has to choose between his past with Sam and what he could have with Carolyn.
WARNING: As the summary states, although this is a Cam/Carolyn video it does have flashes of Sam and an assumed prior relationship between her and Cam. Despite that, I wouldn't consider this a "triangle" vid, so keep that in mind. There's also one clip from Continuum in here, but it's nothing that should spoil anything for anyone who hasn't seen the movie. Enjoy!

Now that I've had some semblance of sleep I can leave a proper review beside: omgyayz. Dude, once again you've blown me away with your editing and syncing up to music skillz. I love how it watched like a mini fic and how for you made it works so well with the amounts of moments we're *really* given for C/C in the actual show. It felt like they were on screen for so much longer together, and you gave them a very real feeling relationship. My favourite bit was the Bounty phone call and how after it was Carolyn on the phone. *mini squee* Because yeah, they totally call each other. *G* (Oh and I recced. Because it's what I do with your vids. *stalker*)

Stef, beautifully done video. This might be a first for me. I like a video that I really don't like one of the main characters. hehe. Nope, I don't like Carolyn. ick!!! *giggles*

Well, I'm no huge Carolyn fan (she never really had much of a character, in my opinion) but I like the *idea* of Cam/Carolyn for the sheer fact that I think it would be an interesting combination of opposite personalities.

Duuuude!!! It's finally done!! Don't you feel just free? *woho* Anyway, just watched it again and I have a feeling I'll be watching it evermore, my mother's become addicted to the song from my playing the vid and now she insists on knowing "well why doesn't that Sam girl stay the hell away if she dumped him?" and "why aren't they making out? Gab, didn't you tell this girl to put a clip of those two at the end making out?" :P

Anyway, LOVE the new reunion clips, I don't know where you found them (Av1?) but they rock! I was sad to not see the "okay you may go!Carolyn" though :P But the new intro putting Carolyn in the mission was perfect (the Lam/Landry clip)!! :D

I'd say you're pretty clear as the gold medal contender ^_~

This is a truly lovely vid! I'm really impressed with the smooth-ness throughout. I didn't even know Carolyn was in that much of the series, so go you for making it work. The story line is totally believable!

She's not, which I soon learned after starting the vid :p The Sam angle was actually meant in some ways to make up for the fact that there wasn't a lot of Carolyn to work with.

I have to say, I'm not much of a Cam/Sam shipper... but that was TIGHT.
